The demo version is not upgradeable. If you wish to purchase the full
license, we will be happy to take your order. The full license includes 1 year of free updates, three months of free technical support, lifetime free email support, one CD that contains all drivers,

Do I need two sound cards to mix?
Why are two sound cards recommended?
DJPower will mix with only one sound card. Two sound cards are not
required. If you have one sound card and wish to cue, DJPower gives you
the option of splitting your sound card into mono-right and mono-left. Two
sound cards are recommended if you wish to cue and do playback in stereo.
Does DJPower play video? YES! DJPower Xtreme not only plays video, but it mixes video too
- with almost 60 different transitions. DJPower is capable
of mixing video into audio and back into video. The video files are played
from the same play list as the audio only files. We support the following
formats: MPEG Layers
1, 2 and 4; AVI, MPV, MV1, MV2, DAT, VOB, plus directly from the DVD.
DJPower then distinguishes the MPG format in the Songs List for easy
recognition.
Does DJPower play karaoke?
YES! DJPower Xtreme can support karaoke in regular video format, but
also in the more popular MP3+G format. Karaoke is just a form of
video as far as DJPower is concerned. DJPower then distinguishes
the MP3+G format in the Songs List for easy recognition.
How do I get the video onto my hard drive for playback? There are a few ways to get the video files onto your hard drive. 1) Using a video capture module, you can put your current video library
onto your computer. This process allows for translation, recording and
compressing your video onto your hard drive in real time. Although this is
more time consuming, you can use any external source, whether it be DVD, VHS,
8mm, etc., and have more flexibility on the quality and format of your digital
conversion. 2) DJPower International LLC has a contract with ScreenPlay to
supply music video libraries to our customers already in MPEG
format. After the initial purchase, an ongoing subscription can be
purchased so you can have the latest & most up-to-date content on DVD, again in
MPEG format, allowing a quick and easy drag-and-drop onto your hard drive. Please
contact us for more details. 3) Using a ripping software with your DVD-ROM drive, you can put
your current DVD video library onto your computer. This process allows a
quick and easy way to convert your DVDs into MPG2 format.
How do I get the karaoke onto my hard drive for playback? With a CD-ROM drive that supports the CDG disc format, your CDGs can be
easily ripped into MP3+G format onto your hard drive, as easily as you
would a CD.
Can I purchase the beat-mixer/video/karaoke/etc by itself without
purchasing the main software?
The software add-ons are not stand-alones and are not available without purchasing the main DJPower software.
Why does DJPower Xtreme
have limitation as a software only purchase?
Many of the features of DJPower Xtreme used to be available as software
only. However, when we had "software only" customers calling in
for support on the various features, due to all the various possible
configurations of software and hardware combinations, we found we were often
unable to help them whenever there was a conflict. This was frustrating to
both our customers and our technicians. So to better serve our customers,
we now offer DJPower Xtreme with two options: 1) DJPower Xtreme now comes with a complete hardware package that has been
configured and tested specifically to run DJPower and its features. 2)
DJPower Xtreme can now be purchase as software only with a waiver of
technical support.
